The aim of the course “Statistics” - is mastering the basis of statistical measuring and analysis of social and economic phenomena and processes. Statistics teaches, being subjected to the aim of research, how to collect, process and analyse data, discover and evaluate the regularity of forming, development of interaction of naturally complicated social and economic phenomena:
- Security of data validity;
- Usage of the system of statistic rates of economic and social development of a country;
- Usage of national economic accounting as the most important tool in developing the national economic strategy and monetary policy.
