CEE University Summit (CFA)

On October 3, 2019, NaUKMA took part in the CEE University Summit in Budapest. The event was organized by CFA Institute in order to discuss its cooperation with the universities from the CEE region that are part of Affiliated University Program of CFA Institute.
CFA Institute is promoting the heighest standards of self-paced education and ethics in investment profession globally. Currently 550+ universities around the globe are recognized affiliated providing financial education in line with the Institute's high quality standards.
Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) is the only institution in Ukraine that went through the recognition process of correspondence with the international standards of financial education of CFA Institute of both bachelor and master programs in Finance at a time.
Cooperation between NaUKMA and CFA Institute has started in 2014 with the accession to the University Affiliation (earlier - Recognition) Program. The program allows professors of the university to continue enhancing their course materials and students of NaUKMA to be eligible for the partial scholarship allowing to prepare and sit the CFA® exams.
CEE University Summit was attended by Maria Sydorovych, PhD in Finance, NaUKMA alumni, lecturer and Principal coordinator of cooperation with CFA Institute in NaUKMA. The event was fruitful in terms of exchanging experience of the leading universities in the CEE region on cooperation with CFA Institute as well as enhancing further cooperation.
