Department received an important grant

Department of Finance received confirmation of the victory in the contest of projects from Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU). The project «Extended Learning of Economics with Dynamic Modeling», which will be carried out together with longtime partner of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy - the University of Bergen in Norway was supported.

The project will continue the development of successful international cooperation between Kyiv Mohyla Academy and the University of Bergen in 4 areas:

1) Creation of a Centre of Excellence of the system dynamics, econometric modeling, financial and economic analysts at the Department of Finance in cooperation of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with:

• Lviv National University, Department of mathematical economics and econometrics;
• University of Bergen (Norway), Center of system dynamics.

2) Joint research of the University of Bergen, Lviv National University and the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" within the framework of reforming the Ukrainian economy;

3) Formation of the approaches to the use of system dynamics methods for teaching Economics to the students of senior classes in Ukraine:

4) Development of the concept of joint Ph.D. programs, joint Master programs, and student of the Bachelor program mobility.
